Apple Pear Sauce Makes 1 Quart

INTRODUCTION

“An apple a day truly keeps the doctor away" Apples help weight control, provide insoluble and soluble fiber, relieve constipation, and fight cancer. The Pectin in apples reduces cholesterol. This is a fresher, tastier apple sauce to encourage eating apples.

INGREDIENTS

1. 2 cups apples, peeled and chopped
2. 2 cups pears, peeled and chopped
3. 1 banana, peeled and sliced
|
4. 1 teaspoon lemon juice
5. Cinnamon, sprinkled to taste
6. Garden of Life’s Super Seed, sprinkled
|

INSTRUCTIONS

PREPARE
Equipment: food processor
PROCESS.
Process ingredients in a food processor until desired texture is achieved. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
PRESENT
Sprinkle with cinnamon. Serve as a comfort healthy snack, especially in fall or winter.
